 Depending on seeding or planting rates, Our 8 cup bag of superior biochar works as a seed inoculate. A full 1/3 cup of the biochar will generally coat 50 pounds of seed. On a large scale application biochar can be applied to seed by using a seed inoculate applicator mounted on your seed tender. Smaller scale applications can be done by adding biochar to seed while in a seed mixer or possibly a cement mixer. Scenario: When planting field corn at an estimated rate of 32k per acre, one 8 cup bag of EarthBrew biochar will inoculate enough seed to plant 60 to 62 acres at an estimated input cost of $19.35 per acre.
